Your very own yogurt creation at Tutti Frutti
By CHRISTINA LOW
FANCY getting behind the counters of a frozen yogurt bar, choosing your own flavours and then finishing it off with the selection of toppings?
The newly-launched Tutti Frutti outlet at the Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre allows you do just that.
You get to pick your own yogurt from eight flavours (Blueberry, Vanilla, Lychee, Death by Chocolate, Original Tart, Mango Delight, Kiwi and Strawberry) and drop by their toppings counter to add the one you like.
The toppings range from slices of fruits to chocolate chips, moochi, cornflakes and nuts.
Colourful attraction: Customers choosing the toppings to go with the frozen yogurt before taking it to the end of the line. Once you have filled the bowl with your chosen flavour and toppings, you can proceed to the end of the line and weigh the bowl to pay the right price.
This simple Tutti Frutti “grab and go” concept originated from America and the Sunway outlet is its maiden joint.
“It’s a popular concept abroad and it basically allows you to personalise your creation and also have a bit of fun with it,” said Tutti Frutti general manager Zain Azrai Azhar Simin who launched the outlet.
Zain added that the dessert was now priced at 53 sen for every 10gm, hence for 100gm of the yogurt, one only needed to pay RM5.30.
Tutti Frutti also planned to open 25 outlets throughout Malaysia by the end of 2010 and another 20 by 2012.
