Festive cheer for special kids


THE management and staff of Kota Permai Golf and Country Club visited Persatuan Kanak-Kanak Cacat in Klang recently to bring some festive cheer to the home’s residents in conjunction with Deepavali.

The home has 71 residents, ranging from three to 29 years old. They comprise Chinese, Indians and Malays.

Led by general manager Tang Meng Loon and club manager Sharudin Kamarudin, the club’s management distributed ang pow to the youngsters. Contributions were also made in kind based on the home’s Wish List. The visitors also spent time with the youngsters and served them lunch.

The home’s monthly expenses amount to about RM31,950 and it hopes the public will help it reduce its financial burden.
