Charity and fun carnival in Kota Damansara on Sunday
DO your bit for charity and have fun at the same time at the Lions Charity & Fun Carnival 2009 from 9am-6pm at Padang Kota, Kota Damansara tomorrow.
It is co-organised by the Lions Club of KL Capital, the Petaling Jaya City Council, Kota Damansara councillor and the Kota Damansara Residents Association, to reach out to the residents of the area.
Guest of honour Kota Damansara assemblyman Dr Mohd Nasir will launch the event at 2pm.
There will be a traffic summons check by the police, baton demonstration by Rela officers, free health checks, kite-flying competition, durian-eating competition, pony rides, and many more.
You can also bring along eyeglasses that are no longer in use for recycling.
Vouchers are sold at RM20 per booklet.
