This month, Zuan Yuan Chinese Restaurant at One World Hotel Petaling Jaya will feature Canadian cod fish prepared in various cooking styles. Known for its nutritious value, Canadian cod is something to think about when you step in Zuan Yuan this month. Savour the master chef’s special recommendation of Braised Sweet Corn and Asparagus in Cod Fish Broth, Simmered Vegetables with Canadian Cod Fish Fillet and Shimeji Mushroom in Fish Broth, Baked Canadian Cod Fish with Japanese Teriyaki Sauce, Oven Baked Canadian Cod Fish Served with Salad and Steamed Canadian Cod Fish with Crispy Fragrant Turnips. Walnut cheese cake
November unveils a lipsmacking cake at Melting Pot Cafe, Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur. If you love cheese and walnuts, this is the best pick! The cheese-filled creation is delicious with sour cream, lemon juice and diced walnuts and is decorated with fresh berries and chocolate decoration. Free range chicken
Free range chicken fresh from the farm takes highlight at Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur’s Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant until Nov 30. Farm chicken or kampung chicken are often sought after as a healthier option because kampung chicken is said to have less fat and more lean meat with a better texture and taste. With its firm, tender texture and wonderful flavour, the chicken is best steamed. This is the best way to truly savour the original flavour and fresh taste of the chicken.
