Courtesy call by new Thai envoy
The new Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia Thana Duangratana, 57, paid a courtesy call on Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Lee Chee Leong on Wednesday at Wisma Putra in Kuala Lumpur.
It was Thana’s first courtesy call on Lee after presenting his credentials to Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin on Sept 10.

Lee welcomed the new ambassador to Malaysia and expressed Malaysia’s confidence that Thana would help to strengthen and deepen the Malaysia - Thailand partnership even further.
Thana is a career diplomat with 29 years of experience.
Before being appointed as ambassador to Malaysia, he was Thailand’s ambassador to the Netherlands (2003) and France (2006).
