Bertam Ulu emerges victorious in futsal challenge
BERTAM ULU became the champions of the Revive Cup futsal championship at the Sports Planet in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur recently.
As the champions, Bertam Ulu received the challenge trophy as well as RM2,000.
The champions: Johari (third from left) with Bertam Ulu players. The runners-up, Pintasia, won RM1,000 while the third and fourth placed teams - MF Club and 5 As Unitar received RM500 and RM250 respectively.
The one-day futsal competition, organised by Permanis, attracted 64 teams.
CI Holdings managing director Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani, who gave away the prizes, said the competition was organised as part of Revive Isotonic brand’s on- going support to sporting events in Malaysia.
“The competition has been a massive success and it is gratifying to see so many teams taking part in the event and the immense enthusiasm the players have for the game!
“We are proud to initiate the Revive Cup to further drive the passion for futsal,” said Johari.
