The festival is presented by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia with partners Bayview Beach Resort and Red FM.
Festival director Paul Augustin said the festival had grown steadily since its inception in 2004 when the festival was only two days long.
“I can say that the primary objectives of the festival have been achieved.
“We have created a festival with high quality acts that attract a sizeable audience,” he told a press conference at the G Hotel on Friday.
He said the festival had also gained recognition from the jazz and music fraternity worldwide.
“We, the organisers, have been invited to attend jazz and world music related activities such as meetings and conven-tions in Norway, Germany, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and China,” he added.
