Sarawak assembly meet in new complex
KUCHING: The Sarawak Legislative Assembly will convene its sitting at its new complex in Petra Jaya near here starting today. The session will last until Nov 18.
Sarawak State Assembly Speaker Datuk Seri Mohd Asfia Awang Nassar said three amendment bills would be tabled at the sitting, namely the Housing Development (Control and Licensing) Bill 2009, Sarawak State Library Bill 2009 and Supply Bill 2009/2010.
He was briefing 30 members of the Kuching District Journalists Association who were visiting the complex.
Asfia said a total of 272 questions had been lined up for the question time during the sitting. The new complex cost RM300mil. — Bernama
