New holiday venue offers guests a splashing time in Kuantan

KUANTAN: Sempurna Resort, tucked in the Taman Indera Sempurna mixed development project, is the latest holiday destination to hit this east coast town.
Located strategically on the way to the royal town of Pekan, it is about 15 minutes from Kuantan and 10 minutes from Kuantan airport.
The new resort, managed by Sentoria Group of Companies, was officially opened to the public at a soft launch recently.
Resident manager Shahrul Hizal Hamid said the resort was offering a special rate for guests in conjunction with the opening.
A big hit: Children and adults alike enjoying themselves at the resort in Kuantan recently. He said the normal rate for a superior room was RM168 nett, inclusive of breakfast, but guests would have to pay only RM88 from now until the middle of the year.
“We have 108 superior, deluxe and family deluxe rooms, a pillar-free multi-purpose hall and three function rooms.
“Our main attraction is the children’s water playground where guests can have a splashing time,” he said.
Shahrul Hizal said, for guests here on business, a full-day or half-day meeting package was available.
He said the Sempurna Cafe offered discounts on selected local cuisines for dine-in guests.
“We hope to cater to guests here for business, pleasure or family fun,” he said.
The resort’s sales and marketing director Su Sook Hwee said members of the public could sign up for Rainbow Club membership at a special rate of RM380 for individuals and RM680 for families.
She said it was part of an early-bird promotion in which members would be entitled to unlimited usage of the water playground and swimming pool and a complimentary one-night stay.
“The promotion is a run-up to our soon-to-be launched Bukit Gambang Resort City, which will have the biggest water theme park in the east coast.
