TAIWANESE actress/singer Barbie Hsu has been appointed the official spokesman for Suisse Programme in Malaysia. The 32-year-old beauty also represents the brand in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Taiwan.
Sa Sa Malaysia senior vice-president and country head Corina Loi said brand management was an important driver for Sa Sa’s future growth.
“Significant progress has been made in developing our brand management. With this objective in mind, we have appointed Hsu for Suisse Programme, which is one of the premium brands that we carry in our outlets.
Premium brand: Loi with some products and posters of Barbie Hsu. “Hsu embodies the brand as she believes in it,” Loi said during an official announcement on Tuesday, held at Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Although Hsu was unable to attend the event, the media was shown a video clip of her in a press conference that featured the Suisse Programme brand story, in which Hsu revealed her time-defence beauty secret.
Her secret consists of her top three favourite Cellular Expert products — Up-Lift Firming Serum, Cellular Eye Zone Firming Essence and SPF30 Gigawhite Illuminating Day Cream.
“These products, which contain Biodynamic Cellular Complex (BCC), instantly make my skin recover its elasticity and softness, and make me look younger than my actual age,” she said.
BCC is an exclusive combination of high quality metabolic substances, which promotes the skin regeneration process and improves skin elasticity.
The Cellular Skincare range, which is an anti-ageing skin treatment programme, is an innovative concept with “photosynthesis” function that protects and stimulates the complex pathway of skin metabolism.
After the video clip presentation, a facial demonstration took place.
Sa Sa Malaysia human resource and training manager Grace Lee guided the media on the step-by-step beauty regime performed on a model during the facial.
Media members also were given products to sample on their own, as the facial was carried out.
