Wesak Day events
·Malaysian Buddhist Associa-tion (MBA), Burmah Road:
Wesak Day procession will start at 6pm. More than 10,000 devotees from 37 Buddhist associations are expected to take part in the 7km float and candlelight procession that will start from the MBA pre-mises.
The procession will pass along Pangkor Road, Kelawei Road, Burma Lane, Burma Road, Peel Avenue, Macalister Road, Anson Road and Madras Lane before returning to the association.
·Wesak Chokyi Gyaltsen Centre at 37-Y Lorong Zoo 1, Air Itam, Penang continues its celebration of Wesak Day today with an oral transmission by Wesi Rinpoche of mantras of Shakyamuni Buddha, Manjushri and Heart Sutra at 11am.
