A musical to enjoy after walk
PARTICIPANTS of Ipoh Starwalk 2009 can look forward to an exciting musical variety show pumped with performances and prizes by DiGi Telecommunications after the 10km walk on Sunday.
The show at Stadium Indera Mulia will, among others, feature DiGi’s very own artistes – CelebriTeens Zenny, aCap and Ben.
DiGi Superstar Azizi Zakaria will perform his debut single,Kamu Semua, alongside Bboy acts from Motion Masterz.
Performers: Starwalkers will be able to enjoy a concert to be staged by (from left) Azizi, Lyn, Baki, Ben J.aCap@ Asyraf. Whacky celebrity host and actor Baki Zainal from 8TV, who will host the show, promises participants fun, laughter and lots of prizes.
Other performances include a cultural dance and singing by a children’s group, and a special apprearance by the Anderson Premier Military Band. There will also be stage games.
Prizes also await DiGi users and those who would like to switch over to DiGi at the DiGi booths at the venue.
Ipoh Starwalk 2009 is jointly organised by Star Publications (M) Bhd and the Ipoh City Council with the co-operation of the Perak Government, Perak Amateur Athletics Association and Perak Education Department in conjunction with Ipoh city’s 21st anniversary.
It will be flagged off at 7am from the stadium. The main sponsors of the event are Milo, Magnum, Pallas, DiGi Telecommunications, Modenas, 100Plus, Spritzer and LG Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd while the official radio station is Red FM.
