Trade fair back for 10th year
THE Malaysia International Food & Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB 2009) returns for its 10th edition at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur from July 9 to 11.
Organised by Kumpulan Utusan and Expomal International Sdn Bhd, MIFB 2009 showcases a wide range of the latest innovative food and beverage (F&B) trends offering business opportunities.
Themed “Celebrating 10 Sumptuous Years of a Multibillion Marketplace”, MIFB 2009 offers 600 booths and participation from over 25 countries including China, Czech Republic, Ghana, India, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia.
Returning this year in a big way, the Taichung County Government from Taiwan will present extensive programmes that will include essential agriculture products, natural & organic products, Taste Taiwan and the Taiwan Fruit Twin Tower.
Visitors and entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to source for food business ventures from proven business models under the Food Business.
Leading the bakery & confectionary community is AB Mauri Malaysia Sdn Bhd, which will not only showcase the latest products and services in the bakery industry, but visitors would also be able to interact with AB Mauri’s pastry chef Manfred Rindler, who will demonstrate the techniques and delicate handling of fruit filings for pastries daily.
In line with going green, TheCookingHouse will present a host of delectable recipes and food preparations under the theme “Green Diet”.
Additionally, there will be complimentary one-to-one business matching sessions, forums, competitions and the Fifth Malaysia International Agro-Bio Business Conference 2009 with a special focus on World Food Shortage (Series II).
