Father’s Day contest was all about keeping fit
By TIMOTHY LIM HENG JU
THE Forever Young Dad contest that was recently held in conjunction with Father’s Day was all about keeping fit.
Organised by The Star and leading fitness specialist chain store Fitness Concept, the contest invited participants to send, online or via MMS, creative photos of fathers exemplifying a healthy lifestyle, complete with a caption that was not more than 160 characters long.
Thirty entries were shortlisted for final judging in the contest, which ended on June 28.
Judges from Fitness Concept and The Star vetted the entries and chose the top three and 10 consolation winners. The list will be announced later.
The main winners will receive exercise equipment from Fitness Concept, with the grand prize being a RM14,000 treadmill. The subsidiary winners will receive package vouchers.

“As the head of the family, dad is the primary role model.
“If dad stays healthy and fit, the family will follow,” she said.
