Shamsudin bags overall golf title
SHAMSUDIN Ismail won the overall title in the Cleveland Srixon CSSB Open golf championships at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club recently.
Shamsudin, who plays to a 12 handicap, returned with 37 points to win himself a golf package to the grand final in Pattaya and Bangkok.

Three participants — William Mun, Zulkifli Osman and Datuk Mohd Zulkiflee Salleh — came with similar 35 points. Mun was declared the winner on countback, and will be on his way to the grand final.
Mohd Said Maarof was in good form and collected an impressive 37 points to win the B Medal. The runner-up was Ahmad Basuki Abdullah, after a countback, on 34 points while Alex Kau settled for the third spot.
In the C Medal, the winner was 17-handicapper Benson Tan Freeway with 36 points. Two participants - Patrick Ng Gan Hooi and Dennis Loo - had 34 points each. A countback decided Ng was the runner-up and Loo had to be contented with the third spot.
