Winner bags travel package worth RM40,000


WHEN Choo May Loon, 38, shopped at a luxury boutique at the KL International Airport (KLIA), little did she know that it would be her “ticket” to the trip of a lifetime!

For Choo is the Bumper Prize winner of the recently concluded The Magic Continues… KLIA Shopping Campaign and went home with a travel package worth RM40,000.

Choo was present with the other winners at the prize-giving ceremony at the KLIA recently.

“I was surprised and almost in disbelief when I received the call from Malaysia Airports, telling me that I had won RM40,000 worth of travel package.

“I am happy to have won this prize because now my dream of visiting Eastern Europe can be a reality.

“It has always been my lifelong dream to visit some of the lesser-known countries in Europe as well as countries like Spain and Greece.

“I am so glad I shopped at KLIA. This was indeed a most rewarding shopping experience for me,” Choo said.

The Magic Continues… was the second phase of the 10-month-long KLIA Shopping Campaign 2008/2009 that kicked off in August last year.

Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad Commercial Services senior general manager Faizah Khairuddin said: “We have recently concluded the third phase of this installation of the KLIA Shopping Campaign. This activity is just one of the many efforts we have undertaken to achieve our goal of giving our customers the best experience at the airport.

“The shopping campaign has been instrumental in moulding our airport experience to become livelier and almost like a lifestyle mall,” she said.
