Tune in to Red FM for a chance to win your share of RM100,000
By NG MIN XI
LISTENING to your favourite songs could be your ticket to winning cold, hard cash!
Red FM’s Fourplay with Acer is giving away RM100,000 to listeners, who just need to be alert to four songs.
The event has been running for two weeks and more than RM20,000 has already been won by the station’s listeners. The event ends when all the money has been bagged, so it might as well be you!
Happy listeners: Red FM deejays posing with the winners of the Fourplay event. The winners of the second week were given the opportunity to meet their favourite deejays in person at Studio V in 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya, on Thursday.
“It’s so easy to win, it’s like we’re giving out money. There are no questions to answer; you just need to drop us an SMS when you hear one of the four songs,” Red FM evening show DJ Jeremy told the crowd.
One of the winners joked that they should be allowed to continue participating even though they had already won, much to the amusement of the Red FM deejays.
“You’ve already got your share, but this doesn’t stop your family and friends from winning. We had a case of a girl using her brother’s phone; she won and they shared the prize. That’s why you should tell every one you know to tune in to us!” the Breakfast Show deejay JD answered.
Two friends managed to grab RM1,000 each in the competition. Nigel Sia Ling-Wei, 26, who had won, told his friend Goh Kel Li, 24, about the competition and the latter, too, managed to win, just by tuning in to their favourite radio station.
“We listen to Red FM because the station plays a good mixture of songs from the 80s and today. And, the deejays don’t play the same songs over and over again,” Sia, a wedding photographer, said.
Tune in to the radio station or log on to www.red.fm for details on how to participate in the competition.
