Sh’bam (pronounced as She-bam) is an uptempo dance, mixed with modernised Latin beats, and accompanied by the hottest music played at nightclubs around the world.
A typical Sh’bam class lasts for 45 minutes, featuring 12 different tracks.
Fun way to exercise: Celebrity Fitness instructors conducting a preview of Sh’bam — an uptempo dance, mixed with modernised Latin beats, and accompanied with the hottest music played at nightclubs around the world. Celebrity Fitness managing director Choi Kwang Ho said: “Celebrity Fitness is the first to bring this hot dance class to Asia.”
He said Sh’bam is already available in Europe and the United States.
“This unique dance class is also a Les Mills programme. Sh’bam features a series of simple yet exciting moves, and is definitely a fun and sociable way to exercise.”
Choi assured that Sh’bam is for people of all fitness levels, even if one is dance challenged.

“Among the benefits participants will experience from the Sh’bam class is increase in metabolism to encourage consistent fat burning, improvement in one’s coordination, and increase in cardiovascular fitness.”
Celebrity Fitness Group ‘X’ country manager Krishan Malhotra said after the launch, a series of roadshows will be held to promote the Sh’bam class at all Celebrity Fitness gyms and trainings will be conducted for all its instructors.
“We are looking at introducing the Sh’bam class proper in June, and tentatively scheduled for three times a week,” he said.
“The classes will be open to all Celebrity Fitness members.
“We foresee the Sh’bam class to be well received based on the feedback in the countries that are already conducting the classes, as they are easy, fun and offer a great workout.”
