THAIPUSAM BUS SERVICE
RapidKL will provide additional bus services to Batu Caves for the Thaipusam celebration today and tomorrow. The bus services will be from 6am to 11.59pm as usual. From the Selayang depot, eight additional buses will be provided for route U6 from Medan Pasar to Taman Jasa Utama, a total number of 20 buses. For route U3 from Medan Pasar to Bandar Baru Selayang, four buses to the current 12. From the Sentul depot, four additional buses for route U10 between Central Market and Pinggiran Batu Caves, making it 10 in total. Route U1 between Central Market and Pinggiran Batu Caves, will have 15 buses. There will be three buses from the Sentul depot for the special route from the Sentul Timur LRT station to Batu Caves; and four buses from the Gombak LRT station to Batu Caves,
LANE CLOSURE
A temporary traffic management scheme is now being implemented between KM39 and KM40 (between Kewajipan Interchange and Subang Mewah, both bounds) of Shah Alam Expressway till March 27. The traffic management involves the emergency lane closure and motorcycle track diversion to facilitate the construction of the Sunway South Quay flyover. ASSESSMENT COUNTERS
Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will be opening assessment tax payment counters at various shopping malls for the whole of this month. The counters are at Berjaya Times Square, Jusco in Taman Maluri, Cheras, Mid Valley Megamall, Jusco Metro Prima Kepong and Carrefour Wangsa Maju.
