Bringing the Emirates to Malaysia

TIGER FC is stepping up the football experience for their fans with the biggest viewing party that the Klang Valley has ever seen at Publika, Solaris Dutamas on April 21.

Chelsea are taking on Arsenal in what is bound to be a hard-fought London derby and Tiger FC is transforming the empty rooftop square in Publika into the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners home ground, where the battle will take place.

With Tiger FC’s tradition of making their viewing parties the most optimal occasions for real football fans to celebrate their passion for the game and to enjoy incredible winning moments with friends, the fans can look forward to entering through the players tunnel into “Emirates” at Publika and they will be greeted by the sight of five giant screens, giving a 360° view of the game.

Turning up the heat: The stadium at Pubika.

There will also be stadium seating and stadium-style food on offer to capture the Emirates feel, along with bucket-loads of ice-cold Tiger on promotion.

“Tiger FC is the fan of true football fans and with the end of the season coming up, we really want to turn up the notch for the occasion and celebrate the winning moments of our consumers’ loyalty, dedication, and love of football with a viewing experience that is beyond compare,” said Tiger marketing manager Sean Koh.

On top of the stadium set-up, there is also the extra bonus of watching the game in the presence of some true English football legends. John Barnes, Viv Anderson and Phil Neal will be joining Tiger FC for the evening, and helping out in the numerous contests open to the fans on the night.

“Tiger FC has always been unrivalled in our viewing party experiences this year, so it has been a challenge to make the Arsenal-Chelsea game even more awe-inspiring but with such prominent and well-respected football legends attending, and so many huge prizes to give away to the fans, I think we’ve done it!” Sean added.

About 1,000 football fans are expected to make the trip to Emirates at Publika on April 21 and to mark Tiger FC’s largest ever viewing party, there will be four times as many prizes up for grabs compared to the already-generous Tiger FC viewing parties.

Four 40” Sony TVs will be waiting to be won, along with four prizes of a preloaded RM1,000 Tiger FC prepaid credit cards.

As a true supporter and ‘Fan of Real Fans’, Tiger FC is currently on target to have hosted 500 viewing parties by May 2012 for fans of all the Premier League Clubs, with extra off-field promotions such as the Tiger FC Fans Cup contest, where fans can participate in a series of challenges on the Tiger Beer Facebook page to be in the running to win a trip to the UK to catch BPL action live and in person. Other monthly Tiger FC Fans Cup prizes include Nintendo Wiis, Sony PSPs, official football club merchandise and more.
