Showcase on latest cameras
the Eye On Canon showcase that is taking place at Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur until April 29 highlights Canon’s latest products ranging from cameras and camcorders to sleek Canon printers.
The event is being held at the Centre Court, Ground Floor.
After Mid Valley, the showcase will then move to Gurney Plaza, Penang from May 1 to 6.
Canon Marketing (Malaysia) imaging communication products division director Simon Wong said: “This year’s Eye On Canon showcase promises to be a memorable one as we celebrate the company’s 25th year of establishment in Malaysia.

“There will also be exciting promotions, discounts, instant cash rebates of up to 25% on selected models, purchase-with-purchase (PWP) for lenses on selected EOS models and lucky draws with Canon products worth RM10,000 awaiting visitors at this showcase of the year,” he added.
Among the special promotions lined up are the 25% discounts and exciting RM25 deal that are limited to 25 units of selected camera models.
The first 100 early birds to purchase selected Canon EOS model at the showcase will receive the limited-edition miniature Hansa Camera, the very first commercial camera produced in 1936.
In addition, with every purchase of any Legria model, consumers will receive a complimentary copy of Yuna’s latest DVD album.
Another highlight of the showcase is the “Amazing Three Cards Promo”, where consumers will receive three complimentary 4GB memory cards with any purchase of the PowerShot A 2200, A 3200IS, A3300IS, Ixus 115HS or the Ixus 220HS starting from RM399.
To celebrate Canon as one of the official global sponsors of the UEFA Euro 2012, any purchase of a camera will receive exclusive sponsor merchandise.
In addition, visitors will experience hands-on the newly launched Ixus 240HS and Ixus 510HS at the Wi-Fi world corner where there will be live demonstrations on how to upload photos and videos without compromising the quality, straight from the camera to iPhones, iPads or personal computers and onto social media networks.
Visitors can also try out the new professional-grade EOS 5D Mark III that provides fast and stunning full-frame image capture equipped with high quality video recording capabilities.
Also featured at the showcase is the Cinema EOS System with the recently launched Canon EOS C300.
This all-new interchangeable-lens digital video camcorder combines exceptional imaging performance with outstanding mobility and expandability that is able to meet the demanding production needs of today’s motion picture industry.
Canon ambassadors Simon Yam and Penny Tai will be at the showcase.
