Maggi and SportsUnite organise bowling competition for Mother’s Day
MAGGI and SportsUnite Sports Club have joined forces to organise a bowling competition to celebrate Mother’s Day at the Sunway Mega Lanes this May 13.
Each team participating in the Maggi-SportsUnite Mother’s Day Family Bowling carnival will comprise three family members; either a pair of parents with their child or a parent with two children. The children must be aged below 18 years.
The participants will play three games, and the combined scores of the nine games from each family (with their handicaps) will decide the winners.
Framed up for fun: Nora (third from right) with other sponsors. Only graded bowlers will be allowed to participate while handicaps will be given to mothers and children aged below 15 years. Members from the National, National Youth, Elite Squad and Open bowlers are not eligible to take part in the carnival.
The champion team will walk away with RM1,000, a trophy and a Maggi hamper. The second prize is RM700 followed by RM500 (third), RM400 (fourth) and RM300 (fifth).
The sixth to 10th placed teams will be given medals and hampers.
Maggi brand manager Nora Fairuz Sahharil said they were proud to support the carnival as it is a great way to pay tribute to mothers. “The carnival will be an excellent opportunity to promote family spirit,” said Nora.
The first 48 teams to sign up will be accepted. Registration fee is RM50 per family. For more information, call 012-209 6012.
