Encouraged to make a difference
LEARN news skills and make new friends — this was the message given to Junior Chamber International (JCI) members who attended a three-day Area Peninsular Convention 2012 at the Ixora Hotel in Prai.
JCI Malaysia national president Alexander Chok in his welcoming address told the members to share their experiences.
“Let us all work together to transform your ideas into impactful projects for the community,” he added.
Penang State Health, Welfare, Caring Society and Environmental Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh in his closing speech said the convention will be a platform for promoting self development and leadership skills.
Several events were organised for the JCI members including seminars, workshops, debates and a speech contest. Awards were presented to those who excelled.
