Ahmad triumphs in first semi-final
AHMAD Marzuki emerged as the gross champion in the first semi-final of the Malaysia Games Golf challenge at the Bukit Unggul Golf and Country Club recently.
Ahmad, a six handicapper, shot a 78 to win by three strokes ahead of S. Sasikumar while Mohd Effendy was third on 82.
The eight-leg semi-finals will culminate with the grand final at the Royal Pahang Golf Club in Kuantan on July 3. The top five winners in the nett and gross categories from each of the semi-finals will qualify for the grand final.
The event was held to riase awareness and promote the Malaysia Games to be held in Kuantan, Pahang from July 9-16.
