FATHERS from The Star were given a special treat recently during a post-Father’s Day high tea celebration held by Star Publications (M) Bhd at Menara Star in Petaling Jaya on June 18.
Each father was given a goodie bag as well as a Giant supermarket voucher worth RM100 as they registered for the event.
There were also booths set up by The Body Shop promoting its products and other booths selling souvenirs including perfumes, mugs, T-shirts, keychains as well as other handicrafts.
A day for fathers: Star Publications fathers cutting the cake during the celebration at Menara Star. The foot reflexology massage service offered by blind masseurs was also a welcome treat for the fathers.
Ahmad Fuzi Sulaiman, 48, from the security and transport department said he enjoyed the celebration held for employees and the event was a good way to enhance ties among co-workers.
“More events like this should be held annually with more participating booths and more activities,” he said.
Pranic Healing services as well as tarot card reading was also available.
Other activities on the day included a blood donation drive, health services and awareness activities.
