Mobile advertisement for international run
TWO school buses have been roped in to advertise for the upcoming Allianz Penang Bridge International Marathon (APBIM) 2012 which will be held in November.
State Tourism Development and Culture Committee chairman Danny Law said that the Penang School Buses Association would provide the buses.
The sponsored advertisements will be pasted along the sides of the buses.
“Although we are starting with only two buses, we hope that more companies can help other bus drivers by sponsoring the advertisements on their buses,” Law said at a press conference at the Batu Lanchang hawker complex recently.
He added that through this programme, the school bus drivers will be able to gain extra income.
The annual marathon will be on Nov 18 and is expected to attract some 30,000 participants.
