Fun outing for 250 kids
ABOUT 250 children from 10 welfare homes in Penang were treated to a fun outing at 1st Avenue in George Town.
The event saw the children treated to a movie, The Avengers, at Tanjung Golden Village Cinemas as well as to Next Fish sandwiches at the NextStop kiosk.
NextStop operations manager Ricky Hor said as a responsible corporate citizen, the company wanted to spread cheer to underprivileged children.
He said NextStop recently introduced a value-for-money promotion priced at RM5 for Fish N Chips on Tuesdays and Next Fish Sandwich & Chips on Thursdays.
He said there was also a Buy-2-Free-1 promotion with choices of five set meals priced at RM10.50 per set on weekends.
NextStop’s other outlets are in Gurney Plaza and Sunway Carnival Mall Seberang Jaya.
The event was organised by Pulau Tikus assemblyman Koay Teng Hai and his service team.
