A blood donation station will be set up today at the foyer of Dewan Tun Canselor, Multimedia University in Cyberjaya from 9am to 1pm. There will also be a health talk titled “Sweet Surrender: Am I Diabetic” at the CCU Seminar Room at 10am.

The Vijayaratnam Foundation is holding an Open Day at Taarana — a school for children with special learning needs — this Saturday at its premises at 82-B, Jalan Awan Jawa 1, Taman Yarl in Kuala Lumpur. The open day, which takes place from 9am to 1pm, offers early intervention programmes for children aged three to four years old, and school programmes for children aged five to 17. TALK ON CANCER SURVIVAL
Organised by non-profit Cansurvive Centre Malaysia Bhd, Datin Paduka Mother A. Mangalam will be giving a talk on cancer survival at the Malaysian Association for the Blind, Jalan Tebing (off Jalan Tun Sambanthan 4) on July 21 from 4pm - 6pm. Cancer patients and their families, as well as medical practicioners and the general public are welcome to attend. The alumni of SMK Dato’ Hamzah will hold a reunion dinner and fundraiser on July 14 at the Klang Executive Club.
