Muslim packages
A CONSORTIUM of six travel agencies in Penang is offering exclusive Muslim tour packages to China, Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia and India for the Penang MATTA Travel Fair 2012.

Suria Travel executive director Ismail Haji Jusoh said the holiday makers would be taken to all the usual tourist attractions at the various countries as well as to visit the historical mosques there.
“The most important aspect is halal food which is hard to come by in countries like China, Korea and Hong Kong. This is the main reason why Muslims cannot join normal tours conducted by other travel agencies,” he said, adding that their all-inclusive packages are also affordably priced.
Select from packages such as Beijing Golden Triangle, Beijing + Rose Valley Ski, GuangZhou Wholesale Shopping, Korea/Jeju Island, Hong Kong/Disneyland, Hanoi/Halong Bay, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta/Bandung, Sydney/Brisbane + Gold Coast, Delhi Agra/Jaipur and Delhi/Gra/Jaipur + Kashmir.
Besides offering inbound tours, air ticketing and FIT tours, the consortium also organises umrah packages (12 days) as well as umrah and ziarah tours with the addition of Turkey or Jerusalem (15 days) that are priced from RM5,500 onwards.
