MALACCA ZOO
Visit Zoo Malacca during weekdays at a discounted rate until Aug 18 from 9am to 6pm. Ticket price for adults is reduced from RM10 to RM8 per person, children below 12 from RM4 to RM2 while senior citizens will enjoy a cheaper rate of RM4 per person. The zoo opens during the day from 9am to 5pm on weekdays and from 9am to 5.30pm on weekends throughout the fasting month. The same ticket price also applies for the Night Zoo, which opens on Friday, Saturday and public holidays from 8pm to 11pm. CHESS TOURNEY
Enrol now for the International Chess Open 2012 from Sept 1 and Sept 2 in the 7 rounds Swiss system with a total prize of more than RM3,500 at the Multimedia University Malacca campus in Bukit Beruang. Competition open to participants of all ages from Malaysia and abroad. All participants will also be given certificates of participation. BALIK KAMPUNG REUNION

WATERCRAFT EXPO
Watercraft Gallery in Pulau Beram (a small island in Pahang River opposite Pahang State Museum in Pekan) will showcase a range of water crafts, models of a fishermen’s houses and floating huts. It is open from 9am to 5.30pm daily except on Mondays. Admission is free.
SIGN LANGUAGE

PETTING ZOO
THE Danga Bay Petting Zoo in Johor Baru is home to 180 species of animals and reptiles. Visiting hours are from 3pm to midnight with twice-daily animal shows at 6.30pm and 10pm. Tickets are priced at RM10 for adults and RM5 for children.

MALACCA St John Ambulance conducts public first aid and CPR courses by request for individuals and small groups.
