WET markets, shopping malls and supermarkets on Penang island are buzzing with last-minute shoppers preparing for Hari Raya.
Shoppers were seen buying festive necessities such as vegetables, meat and fruits at the market complex in Bayan Baru, making the place twice as lively.
Some were still busy picking out the right baju kurung and baju Melayu to wear when they receive visitors to their homes.
Muslims and non-Muslims were also seen flocking to shopping malls and supermarkets to take advantage of the discounts.
Spotted at Sunshine Square in Bayan Baru yesterday was Noor Eiziana Akbar, 28, who came with her mother and younger sister.
