Sad sight for victim’s cousin
GEORGE TOWN: A man drove past the scene of a fatal accident only to find out two hours later that the victim was his own cousin.
The man, who declined to be named, said he was shocked when told about the accident which killed Chin Kai Sian, 30, in Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah here.
“I saw a wrecked motorcycle and some bloodstains while passing the road with my nephew at about 8am.
“Two hours later, I received a call from my family members about my cousin’s death in that area.
“I am saddened over the incident,” he said when met at the Penang Hospital mortuary.
Chin, who had just started working as a waiter at an entertainment outlet, was travelling on his motorcycle when the accident happened at about 4am yesterday.
