Celebrating 10th year on Bursa Malaysia
LBS Bina Group Bhd recently celebrated its 10th anniversary of being listed on Bursa Malaysia.
The event, graced by Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Chor Chee Heung, was also held in appreciation of those who contributed to its success.
The company’s management, employees, business partners, members of the media and other stakeholders, were clad in vibrantly-coloured outfits and accessories in line with the night’s theme, “Colours of Celebration.”
Dressed to the nines: (From third left) Lim and wife, Chor, LBS director Tan Sri Abu Hassan Omar, vice chairman Datuk Kamaruddin Abdul Ghani and executive directors Datuk Barry Lim Hock Guan and Cynthia Lim Mooi Pang pose with the colourful dancers at the gala dinner. The theme signified LBS’ performance over the years, excelling with flying colours in the property industry.
“LBS has grown steadily over the years from a small construction company into a reputable property developer.
“Based on our corporate values of being people-focused, action-oriented and bringing inspiration to the lives we touch, I feel confident that we can overcome new challenges in the future,” said managing director Datuk Lim Hock San.
He reiterated LBS’ commitment towards continued growth and progress through its corporate values to, “Believe in possibilities, become stronger and behold progress.”
Chor commended LBS for providing homes for a wide range of housebuyers.
“LBS has a gentle face in the sense that they have not forgotten the needs of the public in the affordable housing category,” said Chor.
“LBS aims to remain a trusted brand in the property market. We will continue to progress with homes that enhance community living and cater to different needs,” said Lim.
The highlights of the event included a cake-cutting ceremony, over 100 lucky draws, dance performances and a special appearance by the singer/actress/presenter Adibah Noor.
The night marked a double celebration for Lim as he was recently awarded The Entrepre-neur of The Year 2012 award at the Asia-Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards held in Kuala Lumpur.
