Reality TV show holding auditions for parent-child teams
Dumex Chef Cilik, a reality cooking competition where two members of a family, for example a mother and child, returns for Season Two.
Similar to Season One, Chef Cilik is aimed at promoting nutrition and help parents better understand the importance of cultivating good eating habits among their children, on a fun platform.
To kick off the second season and spread the message of complete and balanced nutrition, Danone Dumex (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Astro Ria will be holding auditions in Johor Baru, Penang, Kuantan and Kuala Lumpur, starting Sept 22.
Malaysians interested in trying out for the TV show will have to prepare a healthy dish at home, bring it along to the auditions where they will be asked to present their dish to the judges.
Hard at work: Contestants from Season One creating healthy and nutritious dishes through the competition. In addition, they will be required to create another nutritious dish on the spot.
Participants will be judged on their creativity, teamwork and most importantly, conformity with the Dumex Nutri plate, a portion plate based on the food pyramid designed exclusively for growing up children by Dumex Dugro.
This is in line with Dumex’s commitment and vision of offering nutrition for healthier Malaysian children.
The selection panel will comprise judges from Season One, namely Chef Andri, a restaurateur and freelance chef and Danone Dumex’s nutritionist Nor’azah Mohd Sidi.
The audition dates are as follows:
·Sept 22 and 23 at Citrus Hotel, Johor Baru,
·Sept 29 and 30 at Eastin Hotel, Penang,
·Oct 6 and 7 at M.S. Garden Hotel, Kuantan,
·Oct 13 and 14 at Royale Bintang the Curve, Kuala Lumpur
