SCHOOL REUNION

Malacca High School’s Class of 65 is organising a ‘balik kampung’ reunion, which will kick off with a ‘Boys’ Nite’ on Oct 19. A group visit to the alma mater is scheduled in the morning of Oct 20, followed by a grand dinner the same day. A special brunch session is also lined up on Oct 21. FIRST AID COURSES

MALACCA St John Ambulance conducts public first aid and CPR courses by request for individuals and small groups. YWCA CLASS

WATERCRAFT EXPO

Watercraft Gallery in Pulau Beram (a small island in Pahang River opposite Pahang State Museum in Pekan) will showcase a range of water crafts, models of a fishermen’s house and floating huts. It is open from 9am to 5.30pm daily except on Mondays. Admis­sion is free.

COLOURING CONTEST

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The National Stroke Association of Malaysia (Nasam) Kuantan branch is looking for volunteers to help re­ha­­­bilitate stroke victims. Nasam, a non-profit organisation, will provide training. For details, call 09-566 8195.
