He said the party had requested to contest in two state seats and one Parliamentary seat in the upcoming general election.
Apart from these seats, he said the party would also defend its Kepayan seat.

Dr Chua said the request had been discussed with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman.
Sabah MCA chairman Datuk Edward Khoo said MCA which spread its wings to Sabah in 1991 had a 40,000 strong membership in the state.
“We have an MCA division in each of the 25 parliamentary constituencies in Sabah,” he said.
Khoo said the MCA would mobilise its members from all divisions to help ensure the victory of Barisan candidates.
Dr Chua who highlighted the theme of the celebration - Stability above Chaos. Rakyat to Benefit - in his opening speech, said everybody was responsible in maintaining the religious and racial harmony in the country.
“Harmony is the basis for stability, and this is the foundation for the country to develop and prosper,” he stressed.
Dr Chua reminded members on the importance to ensure Barisan continued to be the state and Federal government after the elections.
“Our performance and results of our hardwork will convince voters that we are worth their support,” he said.
The highlight of the celebrations also included Dr Chua presenting momentos to MCA veterans for their long service in the party.
