Barca to hold training camp for Malaysian kids
Children aged between 6 and 14 years will be learning the training principles adopted by the La Masia Academy under the FCBEscola’s initiative at the upcoming training camp. SPANISH football giants FC Barcelona are sharing their proven training principles, adopted by the La Masia Academy, with Malaysian youngsters.
They will be hosting a five-day training camp for children aged between 6 and 14 under the FCBEscola’s initiative at Garden International School in Mont Kiara from June 4 to 8.
They have also lined up two training sessions a day for the trainees.
Each session goes on for two hours.
The trainees will not only be following the Barcelona Way in training but they will also be picking up the values and philosophies closely associated with the club’s set-up.
Two La Masia-certified coaches will be in town to conduct the upcoming camp. Six local coaches will be assisting the visiting Catalan coaches during the camp.
FCBEscola director Xevi Marce said it would be a non-competitive programme for the children.
“It will be a fun-filled experience for the children having a kickabout with their peers who share a similar passion for football. It also provides the opportunity for the local coaches to develop and enhance their coaching skills,” he added.
