Insurance agent dies in 18-storey fall
GEORGE TOWN: A 34-year-old insurance agent fell to her death from the 18th floor of her apartment in Jalan Slim here.
Residents found the body of Ang Kim Hong, who is unmarried, at about 5pm.
Her brother, who wished to be known only as Ang, said Kim Hong was supposed to meet him for dinner yesterday night.
He said he did not know the reason behind Kim Hong’s fall.
George Town OCPD Asst Comm Gan Kong Meng said the case had been temporarily classified as sudden death, adding that investigations were still ongoing.
He added that no foul play was involved.
This was the second similar case reported in the past two consecutive days.
On Saturday, Ooi Chin Lian, 59, fell to her death from the 18th floor of an apartment in Lengkok Angsana, Bandar Baru Air Itam.
