KUALA NERUS: An evening storm on the eve of Hari Raya Aidilfitri here created havoc, leaving some 100 village houses near here badly damaged.
The storm temporarily halted preparations and dampened the joy of celebrating the festival, with many villagers losing their baju Raya and electrical appliances.
