KUALA LUMPUR: MIC has accepted Datuk S. Sothinathan (pix) as the newest member of the party's central working committee (CWC), sending a message of reconciliation after years of internal conflict.
Sothinathan had been a staunch supporter of former president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel, and took his side during the party crisis that began in 2013 and ended when Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam officially became party president.
