Proud day for Chan and sons picked to recite Rukunegara

KUALA LUMPUR: The 60th National Day celebration was a special moment for Royal Malaysian Navy First Admiral Chan Peng Cheong and his sons, who were among the three “generations” of Armed Forces personnel tasked with reciting the Rukunegara.

A beaming Chan, 54, was dressed in his white navy uniform flanked by sons Lt Chan Jun Shen, 27, and Sub-Lt Chen Jun Kwan, 23, who have followed in his footsteps by joining the navy.
