KOTA BARU: The Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) is racing against time to drain a large amount of stagnant floodwater into rivers before an anticipated second wave of flooding hits the state.
State DID director Kamal Mustapha said they had to use pumps to drain water from areas where the floodwater remained stagnant as rivers continue to swell.
