KUALA LUMPUR: Bilateral trade between Malaysia and China in the first five months this year has surged 14.7% year-on-year to US$42.7bil (RM170.9bil), Chinese ambassador to Malaysia Bai Tian said.
“This comprised of US$18bil (RM72bil) imports from China and US$25bil (RM100bil) worth of exports from Malaysia to China,” he said in his speech at Alibaba’s office opening ceremony in Bangsar South here yesterday.
