PUTRAJAYA: Supermarket operators are fully supportive of the new Government’s “zero waste” policy on excess food to help the poor.
Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said supermarket operators were keen to participate in the ministry’s proposed programme to distribute excess foodstuff from their stores to the needy.
