He has been going out with his fiancée since June, he said, adding that Mohamad Nadzri held part-time jobs before he landed the Kuantan position.
Hanizam said drivers should not only think of themselves. When they go on the road, what happens to them can also affect others, so drivers must not think selfishly.
North Seberang Prai traffic investigating officer Insp Ahmad Fadzli Ali said the red Proton Iswara driven by Mohamad Nadzri collided with a white Iswara coming from the opposite direction on Jalan Permatang Tiga Ringgit.
The other driver Ziafirdaus Ahmad, 24, suffered critical injuries and has been warded at the Seberang Jaya hospital.
Insp Fadzli said the police believed that the accident happened due to the negligence of one of the drivers, as the double-lined road was neither busy nor slippery.
