Man in hospital after severing own penis
ALOR STAR: A 26-year-old man, who is believed to have severed his own penis, is recuperating at the Alor Star Hospital.
It appears that he would have to live without his sexual organ for the rest of his life.
The man from Pendang, who is believed to be insane, was reported to be in stable condition. He was admitted yesterday.
Health authorities have failed to recover the organ that was believed to have been severed three days ago.
Hospital sources said it would be difficult to reattach the organ because it would have decomposed by now.
