Cops bust ring that fixes gaming machines
SUBANG JAYA: Police crippled a syndicate which specialises in repairing and reassembling illegal gaming machines during a raid on a warehouse in Taman Pak Seong, Puchong Jaya.
Chips, monitors, accessories and touch screen monitors worth RM150,000 were seized during the 3.30pm raid yesterday.
OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Fuad Talib said police also detained a Myanmar in the three-hour raid.
“This syndicate is trying to make a comeback after our raids, which netted some RM1mil worth of equipment last year,” he said, adding that police had been watching the premises for almost a week. Some 30 personnel took part in the raid.
