Thanks for the prayers, says Pak Lah
PARTY president Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi thanked the delegates at the Umno general assembly for their prayers for his wife, Datuk Paduka Seri Endon Mahmood.
“Many of you have conveyed your prayers and good wishes for her speedy recovery. And some have even held doa selamat (prayers) for her,” he said in his winding-up speech at the Umno general assembly.
Endon could not attend proceedings as she is undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
