British casino files appeal in former Sabah CM's case

KOTA KINABALU: Ritz Hotel Casino has filed an appeal against a High Court ruling here barring the enforcement of a British court judgement to collect former Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Osu Sukam's RM7.1mil gambling debt.
Counsel Colin Lau filed the appeal at the Kota Kinabalu High Court Registry on Friday on behalf of the London-based casino and R.H.C Ltd.
A copy of the appeal was sent to Osu through his counsel, Sugumar Balakrishnan on the same day.
