Samy: Complain to right agencies
KUALA LUMPUR: He's had enough of people going to television stations to complain about cracking highways and flyovers.
You can even call me if you are not satisfied. Don't go to the TV stations, said an irked Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu when asked about a complainant who told a TV station that cracks had surfaced in the Menora tunnel after the Jelapang toll plaza in Ipoh.
Why can't these people channel their complaints or concerns to the relevant government departments? he asked.
Is the TV station doing the repairs and maintenance work? No. It is done by agencies such as the PWD, the Malaysian Highway Authority and so forth, so forward the complaints to them, he said after launching the all-Indian SR TV film channel at Menara KL here yesterday.
